N2 - This paper introduces the structure and working principle of dye-sensitized solar cell, reviews the modified research progress of titanium dioxide anode in dye-sensitized solar cell all of the world, and describes various modified methods to improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar cell. The modification methods of titanium dioxide anode include: surface treatment, ion doping, semiconductor compound, micro orderly space structure, porous structure and noble metal deposition, etc. The modification methods of titanium dioxide anode can reduce the interface impedance between the anode and dye, which can improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of DSSC. At last, the modification of anode in dye sensitized solar cell and application are discussed and excepted. Engineering design of the micro orderly structure of titanium dioxide anode, development the membrane technology of titanium dioxide anode, using various means to complementary synergy is the direction of titanium dioxide anode modification in the future. The deeper research and discussion about the mechanism of interface resistance and electronic transmission is very necessary on industrialization of DSSC.
