Abstract

The authors researched the formation technology and the ignition, propagation and detonation behaviour of the low-density NQ which has two kinds of crystallines of ultrafined grains. The dependences of detonation velocities and pressures on the density were obtained for two kinds of crystallines, with confined charging, at densities from 0.5 to 0.8g cm-3. It provides reliable information for the uses of NQ.
