Abstract

Blinking jamming could effectively jam missile which is equipped with monopulse radar seeker and increase missile's miss distance. The performance of blinking jamming used to against monopulse radar seeker is affected by power ratio of two jammers, period of blinking and so on. In order to improve performance of blinking jamming, a novel realization of blinking jamming based on two jammers transmitting simultaneously the jamming signal is proposed. An angle measuremengt model was established for different blink jammers to study the result that power ratio and blinking period which impact the performance of blinking jamming. The results indicated that little value of power ratio could obviously delay the monopulse seeker distinguishing targets and appropriate period of blinking jamming could make the probability of temporary steady tracking increase.
