Research on reflection of CAN signal in transmission line

Abstract

This paper researches the way that physical layer of CAN bus affects the signal transmission. The analysis is based on the physical model of twisted-pair wire. According to this model, the effect of different wire physical parameters is discussed. Besides that, it reasons the cause of signal reflection, and brings method to solve the problems of signal transmission of CAN signal. In this way, references could be provided for the design of CAN system.
