Research on natural convection thermodynamic model of hydro-pneumatic spring

Abstract

The importance of researching the increased temperature of damping equipment was proposed according to the phenomenon which oil temperature influenced on the seal reliability when hydro-pneumatic spring worked. The calorigenic theory of throttle valve throttling the oil was analyzed according to the physical model of the hydro-pneumatic spring. The thermo-dynamic model of hydro-pneumatic spring was established through the conservation of energy and the fact gas equation. The expressions of relating convection heat transfer coefficient which belong to every surface of system were deduced. The variation trend of oil temperature under the different frequent activation and the rules of the structure parameters of system influence on increased oil temperature were studied. The concept of balanced temperature was proposed. The analytical conclusion can offer reference to design hydro-pneumatic spring.
