Research on measuring technique for the image lean of telescope system with digital image processing

Abstract

Image lean can be created in the optical system including prism, especially in the telescope system including reticule. Its affecting is much obviously. Automatic measurement for image lean of telescope system with CCD camera digital image processing, math model of linearity regression, the method of moving target and subpixel edge detection algorithm were implemented. Subjective error in conventional measuring technique was eliminated. The accuracy of measuring angle is less than 10 second.
