N2 - In order to solve checkerboard pattern problem, a new sensitivity modification technique was deduced to overcome instability phenomena of topology optimization based on the research of common sensitivity filter method. This method was to control filter factor of central element, which will influence the results of topology optimization. The classical compliance minimal numerical example was carried out by the new sensitivity modification method though different functions, the results demonstrate that this method can eliminate checkerboard pattern, mesh dependent and avoid over-averaging in domain.
