Abstract

To study the dynamic tensile properties of steel fiber reinforced concrete, Brazilian disc test made by Hopkinson pressure bar test system was used to test both the dynamic tensile properties of steel fiber reinforced concrete and the relationship between tensile properties under the pre-static load conditions and the pre-static load. The results show that there is a significant enhancement effect of loading rates, and the steel fibers improve the tensile strength of concrete obviously. Although the pre-static load has an enhancement effect, the dynamic tensile strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete decreases with the increase in pre-static load.
