Abstract

In order to solve the problem of vehicle safety and traffic congestion, the Intelligent Transportation Administration of the US Department of Transportation proposed the concept of Internet of Vehicles. With the development of intelligent transportation, in recent years, some scholars have studied vehicle fuel economy control based on intelligent network connection. Studies have shown that in the case of urban roads, the fuel economy of automobiles can be improved by reducing the number of accelerations. This paper proposed a control system for vehicles in platoons. The system can improve the fuel economy of the platoon while ensuring safety. And this paper verifies the feasibility of the system through simulation analysis.
