Abstract

In this paper, a software is designed for assisting the detection of pipes on showing wave propagation in pipes. This software could estimate the detection-parameters on given pipe diameters, pipe material, pipe defects and detection-method. Meanwhile, this software simulates the ultrasonic propagation path and calculates the ultrasonic propagation time. At last, this software could simulate the ultrasonic propagation path in straight line or acoustic beam format. This software makes good progress in pipe detection experiment.
