Abstract

This paper proposes a leg multiplexed low-switch-ripple bidirectional AC/DC converter topology. The converter uses the principle of switch multiplexing to achieve a small number of power-switches bidirectional AC/DC topology, and the composite leg current is actually reduced, reducing the power loss. Then, the coupled inductance and carrier phase shift are used to extract, alias and frequency doubling of the circuit ripple to reduce the switching ripple current. Finally, the converter is applied to the single-phase 220V terminal grid for grid-connected control. The simulation results show that the leg multiplexed low-switch-ripple bidirectional AC/DC converter proposed in this paper can realize bidirectional power flow, effectively reduce the switching ripple, provide stable and high-quality power supply to the load, and can be well applied to the single-phase 220V terminal power grid.
