Research on a high-precision pattern prediction method of reflector antenna with phased array feed

Abstract

In order to improve the prediction accuracy of the pattern of the reflector antenna with phased array feed, a high-precision semi-physical pattern prediction method based on the combination of the electric field and circuit priori measurement data is proposed in this paper. Combined with the differential evolution algorithm, the proposed method is applied to the beam optimization of the reflector antenna with phased array feed. For a given configuration of the reflector antenna with phased array feed, several examples are optimized efficiently and accurately. The proposed method greatly improves the accuracy of the optimization of the reflector antenna with phased array feed.
