Abstract
The triplexer of microring resonator based on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) slot waveguides is designed. The mode characteristics of 2D slot waveguides are introduced. The relationship between effective index and wavelength is obtained. On this basis, by using the relationship between resonant wavelength and radius, the radius of microring resonator of separating 1490 m and 1550 nm is calculated and also upload 1310 nm. As a result, three wavelength signals are output from different port, which triplexer function is realized. The transmission spectrum of the triplexer of microring resonator based on slot waveguides is simulated. The simulation results show that cross talk is less than -16.9 dB.
