title = "Research and verification of power boosting technology for a vehicle diesel engine",
abstract = "A V-type 8-cylinder water-cooled automotive diesel engine is designed to increase the engine speed by matching the supercharging system on the basis of the same main structure, thus achieving a power increase of 22%. Based on the GT-Power software platform, a one-dimensional engine performance optimization and supercharger matching simulation model was constructed, and the predicted performance improvement of the matching supercharger system under high engine speed conditions was carried out. The diesel engine was tested and verified after the re-matching of the supercharger. The test results showed that after matching the new supercharger to the diesel engine through simulation calculations, the maximum speed of the diesel engine was increased from 2800r/min to 3300r/min, the calibrated power was increased by 22%, and the maximum torque was increased by 20%. The research results show that: supercharger matching and optimization is an effective way to improve the power of automotive diesel engines.",
