Abstract

A new fusion method of high spatial resolution image and multispectral images is proposed. In order to improve the quality of the fused image, relationship of the high frequencies of the multispectral images with the high spatial resolution image is investigated and modeled. According to the relationship, IBSM (inter-band structure model) is introduced to modify the image fusion based on wavelets. Experiments showed that this method preserves the spatial and spectral information simultaneously.
