Abstract

The length of the gap is the key to realize the function of the explosive gap null-gate. Too long or too short of the gap can cause the gap null gate failure. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the interval of the gap, that is, the reliability window, which enables the gap null-gate function to be successfully realized. With the assumptions that both the density of the explosive and the cross-sectional area of the explosive channel were constants, we established the joint distribution model by regarding the endpoints of the reliability window as two random variables. Based on the joint Logistic distribution model, the paper analyzed the correlation between the both random variables with the score statistic test and developed the method for estimating the reliability window. At the end of the paper, based on the experimental data, we verified that there is no significant difference between the correlation coefficient and 0, and presented the estimation result of the reliability window.
