Abstract

In order to study the relationship of structures and properties of cellulose ether polymers-CMC, they were analyzed using chemical titration, 1H-NMR, FTIR and other testing methods. The results indicated that the distribution of the group -CH2COO- at C2, C3 and C6 within the anhydroglucose unit (AGU) of the new product PAC produced in the mixed solvent of high scale concentration, being more homogenous than the product produced through ordinary procedures. The properties of salt resistance, acid fastness and compatibleness were better.
