Abstract
Aim: To design high resolution digital phase shifters. Methods: Based on DDS, high resolution phase shift control was realized in IF by using high-speed digital circuits. Results: The high resolution phase shifters show the perfomances of low phase shift rate (0.09°), fast switching (<1 μs), low phase noise (≤-90dB/Hz at offset 1 kHz), and low spurious level (-65 dB). Conclusion: This high resolution phase shifters can be applied in phase array system to improve DBF performance.
