Abstract
A code acquisition method to solve the problem of long code-acquisition time in high dynamic DSSS receivers having large frequency offset is proposed. The study analyses the relationship between the length of the matched filter and SNR after correlation. The performances in different detection algorithms are compared, the performances of FFT frequency correction technology are analyzed. The method adopts segmented matched filter detector, maximum-selection detection algorithm and FFT frequency correction with quadratic interpolation. A code acquisition circuit module is designed. The result of Matlab simulation shows that the acquisition method can tolerate larger frequency dynamic range and can rapidly finish code acquisition under lower SNR.
