Abstract

Radar network is a hot research topic in radar community today. Compared with traditional monostatic radar, radar network can share resources and cooperatively operate, which greatly improves the overall performance of the detection system. Considering the networking specialty, this paper proposed a new method to analyze the system performance for radar network. First, the EM signal spatial distribution model was established for radar network. Second, the typical system performances including detection power and positioning accuracy were analyzed. Finally, computer simulations under different conditions were carried out to verify the feasibility of the proposed method for radar network.
