Abstract

To investigate the separation of main components in aconitum sinomontanurn Nakai by capillary zone electrophoresis, and provide a method for quality control in industry production. A buffer system of Tris-H3PO4 was used in our experiment. The effects-of pH and ionic strength of buffer on electroosmotic flow and resolution were examined. The tailings of Aconitum sinomontanum Nakai could be separated quickly and effectively within 4 minutes using 30 mmol/L Tris-H3PO4 buffer (pH 8.5). It was demonstrated that the method compared with high performance liquid chromatography might be suitable to the quality control in the preparation of lappaconitine from aconitum sinomontanum nakai.
