N2 - In this paper, safety theses in recent 5 years were used as research object by using the method of literature metrology. Accounting analysis was put on safety thesis published in scientific journals in recent 5 years. Thesis quantity, geography distribution feature was carried out. Safety research status and feature was discussed on thesis performed by scientific research institution, high education school, and skeleton enterprise. The proportion of theses in different units, area and proportion of different category theses was discussed. The proportion of different resources and different category theses were researched. Quantity guideline was provided for subject evaluation and emphasized subject construction of different levels, One side, the wind age caused by subject factor in the process of evaluating emphasized subject can be avoided. On the other hand, valuable references can be provided for subject construction.
