Abstract
Designing a fuzzy logic controller(FLC) is presented in which the rule-interval variation(RIV) method is incorporated to overcome the stability problem of FLC. To use RIV for designing FLC, the related two problems should be solved in advance, which are to limit performances of all the states and to select the appropriate RIV rates. Such problems with RIV method are solved by an adaptive law and a sliding mode controller(SMC) scheme with simulation experiments.
