Abstract
Terahertz wave has been emerging as the most promising operational band for intra-body nano-communication. This paper presents the propagation and interaction of THz wave in the three-dimensional four-layer skin. Results show that the absorption loss is the dominant factor in signal attenuation comparing with the spreading loss, while the refraction at the rough boundaries can be neglected.
