Progress on head-worn display technology for augmented reality

Abstract

Several problems with significant impact on the development ofhead-wom displays for augmented reality are discussed, including the size and weight, the contradiction between large field-of-view and high resolution, and accommodation and convergence disparity. Methods proposed by Beijing Institute of Technology to solve or alleviate these problems are presented.
