Abstract

The amino phosphonic chelating ion-exchange agent was a class of chelating agent with the function group of -NHCH2P(O)(OH)2. A variety of metal ions could be chelated by chelating atoms of N, O and P in function group by stable chelating and adsorption with better adsorption capacity and adsorption selectivity. The progresses in preparation methods of two basic types of chelating agent, amino phosphonic acid chelating resin and amino phosphonic acid chelating fiber, were summarizes, and the future research direction was prospected.
