Abstract
In the paper, the research status of the art of image processing algorithms in the field of cell image analysis are presented, which including cell image preprocessing, cell segmentation, cell tracking, cell shape analysis, and 3D cell image analysis. And the existing problems are pointed out, such as the non-rigid shape representation, the elimination of shape pose, 3D information extraction and compression. In addition, this paper also introduces the important tendency in the field, which is to quantitatively analyze dynamic images and 3D images.
