Abstract

After analyzing synthetically all kinds of error factors such as center distance error, deviation of tooth thickness, deviation of pitch and deviation of profile, the effect of these errors on the transmission angle and meshing angle are found, and finally the effect of errors on profile overlap interference found. It is demonstrated that [Gs] value, or the allowable value of profile overlap interference constraint condition, will decrease when the center distance error is plus, or the deviation of tooth thickness exist, and will increase when the center distance error is minus, i.e., a deviation of pitch or of profile exists. It was proved in experimentation that profile overlap interference will not occur, if the gear pair of internal parallel move gear transmission is designed according to requirements given in this paper.
