Abstract

In order to improve the recall ratio and precision ratio in knowledge retrieval of the product-design process, a semantic-oriented framework of product-design knowledge retrieval is presented. In this framework, the rule model is established to improve the ability of intelligent inference and solve the problem of polysemy. Then ontology model is established to improve the ability of semantic extension and solve the problem of generalization and synonym. Finally, the process of a typical product as a research object is studied. Based on that, a knowledge management system is developed. The effectiveness and feasibility of this method is validated.
