Abstract

To achieve process integration and resource sharing of different disciplinary design software within Multi-disciplinary Design Optimization (MDO), a meta-model based on XML and process ontology for design process description was proposed. To realize the semantic description of process information, semantic mapping rules and procedure based on PSL ontology were defined. To realize the syntactic description of process information and information exchange, description rules for Process Specification Language (PSL) core based on eXtensible Markup Language (XML) were constructed. Finally, a process integration and resource sharing platform for MDO of jet vane was developed to illustrate the validity and feasibility.
