Abstract

Inrush water and inrush mud geological disasters of tunnel are frequent at present. The scientific concepts of groundwater prevention have been presented already. Methods of groundwater monitoring has been studying always in order to ensure tunnel safety and construction quality. Against construction of large railway tunnel, this paper have mainly studied that activities and balance law of underground water, geological hazard and underground water, and water leakage, etc, have influences on tunnel construction based on geological hazard prevention, environment protection and engineering quality, prevention importance of which has been also studied. The results show that underground water that flows from tunnel surrounding rock into tunnel is being monitored strongly is very important. Grouting in rock mass is considered to be most effective method.
