Abstract

In this work, we proposed a method to obtain the self-assembled nanostructured VO2 film. The formation of the nanostructured VO2 film is derived from controlling the precursor component and thermal annealing. The unique nanostructure of VO2 film can effectively enhance the optical properties. The obtained nanostructured VO2 film exhibits excellent comprehensive thermochromic performance with solar modulation value of ∼14.0% and visible transmittance value of ∼56.0%, making it promising for smart window applications.
