Abstract

MoO3 crystals with different morphologies were prepared by hydrothermal method under different temperatures and for different reaction time. Surface morphologies, phase structures, FT-IR spectra and thermal properties of the products were investigated by SEM, XRD, FT-IR spectroscopy and DSC-TG analysis, separately. With time increased to 48 h, the surface morphology became smoother and more uniform in width distribution. The morphology of MoO3 changed from thread to belt with temperature rose from 100°C to 150°C.
