Abstract

We presents the precise bit error rate (BER) analysis for a binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) system in two-wave with diffuse power (TWDP) fading channel in co-channel interference (CCI) environment. A precise BER expression is derived using a characteristic function (CF) for the case of perfect coherent detection. The method of Chernoff Bound is used to derive the BER versus SIR. The impact of different TWDP fading scenarios on the BER performance is presented. Simulation results of TWDP fading channel with and without co-channel interference are compared.
