Abstract

For the problem of ambiguous acquisition of BOC(n, n) signal caused by its auto-correlation, this paper introduced the auto-correlation side-peak cancellation technique (ASPeCT), subcarrier phase elimination cancellation algorithm and a new synthetic acquisition algorithm which was based on correlation function. The new algorithm was implemented by using the BOC(n, n) signal auto-correlation and BOC(n, n) and QBOC(n, n) cross-correlation, after shifting a quarter code chip phase, modules, summation, square. Under the same condition, the simulations reveal that these three kinds of algorithms can effectively eliminate the side-peaks of BOC(n, n) auto-correlation and the new synthetic capture algorithm has a higher and sharper main peak. So the new algorithm is the optimum choice of the three.
