Abstract

This paper presents performance optimization of switched reluctance generator (SRG) at low speed range used in wind power generation system. Two high numbers structures of SRG are designed to study the characters under low speed range. Output power optimization algorithm is presented in this paper. The ANSYS is used to calculate the performance of the designed SRG. The optimization strategy of output power is evaluated and validated by simulation and hardware measurements.
