Abstract

As an easy way to implement the multicast in wide area network, ALM (Application Layer Multicast) will be widely used in the future. But the large delay and the instability lead to many issues as reliability, scalability and ordered performance, which confined its extensive application. This paper presents a totally ordered algorithm in multi-source interactive ALM, which warrants that the operations are executed by the destination at the same order without the center server or NTP (Network Time Protocol) support.
