Abstract

Based on the design requirements and the operation temperature characteristics of the thermal source components of a vehicle whose conventional oil burning power system has been changed into one of hybrid system, a cooling system having high and low temperature circulation loops is designed. The radiating heat efficiency of the cooling system is improved as the high temperature source and the low temperature source components are separated and the operation temperature of the cooling medium of the high temperature circulation loop is heightened. Through CAD, the cooling system parameters and the main component parameters are optimized. The design results are compared with the experimental performance data of the fan selected. It is indicated from the results that the design project can satisfy the requirements of the radiating heat of the vehicle whose power system has been remodeled.
