Abstract

Round array parameters of passive ground electrostatic detection systems comprise the detection round array radius, detector number of the array and the electrode size. Influence of the round array parameters to the precision of location are studied first with the help of error theory. Then array parameters optimization of the round array is discussed in detail. The array parameters of the round array are optimized using the uniform design method, the regression analysis and variance analysis results indicate that in certain condition, highest precision of location of the detection system can be obtained when the detection array radius is 300 m, the number of the detectors arranged on the round array circumference is 44, and the detection electrode radius is 1.4 m.
