Optimization of rhythms in controlled rolling

Abstract

Under different methods of controlled rolling and normal rolling, in the process of rolling of a single mill line, Productivity of a plate mill was studied. On the basis of controlled rolling batch by batch, the method with which the slab was taken in turn in rolling was proposed. With this method, the optimization of rhythms in controlled rolling was further studied in accordance with the rolling time and temperature waiting time, etc. It is seen that efficiency of the plate mill can be increased by adopting conclusions of this study.
