Abstract

An integrated magnetic suspension spherical induction motor (IMSSIM) is proposed for satellite attitude control system (ACS). In this paper, the structure and principle of IMSSIM is introduced. The comprehensive optimization based on multi-physical field of IMSSIM has been done by finite element method (FEM) to find the optimal rotor parameters. The multi-physical field includes the electromagnetic field, temperature field and mechanical stress field.
