Abstract

The electrostatic detecting round array can precisely detect the electrostatic target in a long distance. To improve the location accuracy of this detecting system, the optimization of the array arrangement must be carried on. Because of the complexity of the detecting model, Ant Colony Algorithm with the advantages of efficient solution procedure and global optimization is adopted. Considering the specific situations of the system, some theories of Max-Min Ant System (MMAS) are introduced, which can properly improve the performance of optimization process. Based on the results of simulative experiments, it can be concluded that not only reasonable optimal results of the electrostatic detecting array are obtained with the Ant Colony Algorithm, the efficiency of optimization is heightened remarkably as well.
