Abstract

In this paper, an electronic components inventory model with fuzzy multi-parameters is considered. Economic order quantity (EOQ) is developed for optimal order quantity with all parameters assumed to be exact or crisp. Actually these parameters are not precise while varying over a range. In such case fuzzy set theory is applied to electronic components inventory planning and control problems. With analysis of parameters which have been described through trapezoidal fuzzy number and computed total cost by graded mean integration representation method which has proved to be appropriate for solving above problem, the optimal order quantity is derived.
