Abstract

Noise frequency modulation signal (noise FM signal) is the main form of noise jamming. The research on it is focused on its signal characteristics. However, the material about best parameters selection of the jamming with which the best cover effect can be gotten is rare. The noise FM signal and its output of the radio receiver are derived theoretically in the paper, and the range of signal parameters which can obtain the best jamming effect is gotten. The jamming effect of the noise FM jamming is mainly related to the bandwidth of the jamming, the structure of the modulation noise, and the bandwidth and dynamic response of the receiver. The jamming bandwidth is decided by the types of interference. The modulation noise's bandwidth is not the wider the better, but must be chosen between the best cover effect and the situation that the gain of dynamic response of the receiver dose not decline badly. Finally, the steps to determine the optimal parameters of jamming are summarized, and the typical parameter list and simulation are given.
