Abstract

A method of determining the detonation temperature by measuring the spectrum is presented. The measuring system consists of the optical fiber, the optical multichannel amplifier (OMA) and computer. The detonation temperature is derived by fitting the emission spectrum of the temporal detonation process with the Plank blackbody formula. Experimental results of detonation temperature, emission spectrum and temporal response of explosive TNT are given.
