Abstract
Aimed at the elimination of uneven illumination in digital images, existing techniques for the correction of unevenness of illumination are classified, and the basis of its algorithmic error analyzed. A new technique for the correction of unevenness elimination based on wavelet transform is proposed. By giving attention to both the frequency domain and space domain of the image, this technique results in better quality, less error in the resulting image, and the time spent is also relatively small.
