Abstract
The configuration and principle of a RLG strapdown north seeking system are presented. The mathmatic models of north seeking and attitude computation are derived, and the softwares are introduced. The test results show that the north seeking error is less than 0.24°, north seeking time is less than 5min, and attitude angle errors are less than 0.1°.
