Abstract

According to the experimental data in well CHU 32 of the Huabei Oilfield, the heating oil effect with the method of the earth thermal energy self-balance in the oil production process is numerically simulated with the finite difference method and thermal balance equations. The temperature variety at oil outlet is computed when the production and the depth of oil pump are different. The results indicate that the effect is obvious by using the earth thermal energy self-balance method to heat the liquid in the pipe with the super long two-phase closed thermosyphon consisting of the hollow sucker rod. The oil temperature at the well outlet increases with the enhancement of the oil production and the depth of oil pump, and is basically linear with them. The method of heating oil with the earth thermal energy self-balance is suitable for the deep oil wells with large production.
