Abstract

Numerical simulation for the process of hydrostatic extrusion of tungsten alloys with different die contours is carried out using software ANSYS5.5. The extrusion pressure, stress-strain distribution and pressure on the surface of the die with different die contours have been obtained, which provide a theoretical basis to optimize the extrusion parameters on the process of hydrostatic extrusion of tungsten alloys.
