Numerical analysis on graphene mode-locked fiber lasers

Abstract

Taking mode lockers based on graphene as special fibers, a uniform numerical model of the sub-units in mode-locked fiber lasers is set up. The forming process of mode-locked pulse has be simulated with a so-called pulse tracing method. The results coincide with experimental phenomenoln reported previously. After that, some research on the relation between graphene mode-locker parameters and pulse character has been done, which is helpful for constructing and optimizing laser device.
